Last week, my doctor and I are in an appointment with 2 very rambunctious pugs. After the exam was done and the vaccines were given, the doctor went to draw some blood from the back leg. Since the pug was on the table and close to waist level, the doctor knelt down to be at eye level with the back leg.
And the pug released the loudest, longest fart I’ve ever heard come out of a small dog.
Of course the doctor looked at me and asked if I did it. I was trying so hard to not laugh in front of the client because she was completely mortified for obvious reasons- what would you do if your pet farted in your vets face?

Personally I think that was perfect payback to the vet for sticking a needle in. I’ll have to remember that next time I go.
I’d try not to laugh, but I’m not sure how successful I’d be. Fortunately, my dog rarely farts, and it even more rarely reeks. I only know when she does it because she doesn’t understand what happened, and she turns around to look at her butt because she thinks someone touched her there.
